What is Chain of Alliance?
Chain of Alliance is a strategic and role-playing game in a fantasy/sci-fi setting featuring NFT, in which players can fight alongside the expedition team against other groups or AI-controlled monsters for loot, experience points, and to create their own personal heroes.
The essence of this game is creating, customizing, enhancing, and owning your own characters from a wide selection of races, classes, and loot.
What is special about Chain of Alliance?
Feature
Chain of Alliance integrates all GameFi and DeFi components:
- Interoperability: Connects Chain of Alliance communities and partners by enabling the transfer and usage of each other’s NFTs, as well as the advancement of those NFTs in interconnected game rounds.
- Blockchain integration: Gives you additional confidence in the game by storing your progress, the game logic, and the metadata of your NFTs on a public blockchain in a verifiable and transparent manner.
- In-game Market: Buy and sell NFT characters and devices directly through the user interface of Chain of Alliance, skipping secondary markets.
- Decentralized governance: Permits token holders to make communal decisions regarding game direction, graphics, and punishments for players who mismanage or neglect their Land.
- Staking: Users can stake their COA tokens in order to gain COA incentives and unique NFTs.
- All characters and equipment will be shown as NFTs using Chromia Originals’ NFT Standard, and their relevant information will be stored on chain. This enables the progress of a character to be stored on the blockchain and traded with.
In Chain of Alliance, we emphasize three Game Roles, Adventurers, Landlords, and Creators. Adventurers focus on the core game revolving around characters, battles, and exploring the realms of Chain of Alliance. Characters are created by using fragments (head, torso, arms, legs) with unique attributes. Furthermore, a character’s stats are specified by the species of the character, the class assigned to the character, and the equipment used.
By playing the game, adventurers aim at unlocking and crafting character fragments, equipment, and consumables. They also gain experience points which are used to level up characters, ultimately improving the player’s party. Landlords are landowners that purchased land during land sales. At the launch of the game, Landlords will be able to create Arenas that allow players to participate in PVP Matches for Experience Points and Rewards. Land Management will be an important part of the Landlords’ experience. The better-managed land is, the more interesting a Landlords Arena is for players to use. We want to add more use-cases for land at a later stage of development fully utilizing the On-Chain RPG Multiverse that our game can offer.
The third Game Role is Creators. As a long-term vision for Chain of Alliance, we want to allow players to create their own campaigns and stories within Chain of Alliance. For that, they will be able to use our API, and other players staked and offered Characters and land.
How to make money in Chain of Alliance
Chain of Alliance’s Play-to-Earn (P2E) features center on three pillars, which correspond to the aforementioned Game Roles:
- Participation in competitions and tournaments centered on characters and battle-based core games is rewarded.
- Economic is based on land, where players can generate cash by constructing various types of amenities (arenas first and foremost).
- Earnings earned by players, which, at later stages of game development, use game APIs to generate their own content, particularly campaigns in which other players can join.
